- Go for a scientific walk outside! Give each child a skill sheet, a pencil, and a writing surface.
- Then take your walk and invite kids to look for the signs of spring on the sheet: a cloud, an insect, a bird, and a flower. Remind children that each of these things can come in different shapes and colors!
- Children can check off each thing they see. Back in class, they can use crayons to show what theirs looked like.
- Let children compare their observations to see how much variety spring brings!
