Materials: large cardboard box, red paint, other art materials
- Look at the photos of fire trucks in the mini book. Discuss the different parts. Tell students that they will help make a fire truck!
- In small groups, have students paint a big cardboard box red. Then help them use their imagination and different materials to add parts, like the hose, wheels, siren, and ladder.
- When the fire truck is done, put it in your dramatic play area so children can play firefighter.
